MINFIE application
Find, Publish and Save MINFIE messages nearby your current location by using your mobile device.
Basic application is free. With the free versio you are able to save maximum 20 found Minfie messages and have 3 own saved Minfie messages which you can publish.
If you want to save more than 20 messages, you are able to get an unlimited amount by purchasing the inapp feature related to this limit.
If you want to have more than 3 own saved Minfie messages, you are able to get rid of this limit by purchasing the inapp feature related to this limit.
If you want to save your messages into a MINFIE Beacon, you need to puchase the monthly inapp feature which allows you to do that.
Prerequisites for your mobile device:
- Android 5.0 or higher
- Bluetooth
- Wi-Fi or mobile data capability – needed for internet access
Follow these steps to install.
- Download MINFIE application from Google Play shop.
- Install application > Place the MINFIE app icon on main screen for fast access. Note! You accept the Terms of Use at the same time when you install the application.

MINFIE LITE application for iOS platform.
Find, and Save MINFIE messages nearby your current location by using your mobile device.
Basic application is free. With the free versio you are able to save maximum 100 found Minfie messages.
If you reach the 100 limit please delete some old saved messages to get space for the new ones.
With MINFIE LITE application you are able to find Minfie messages published by Minfie Beacons or Android phones or tablets. You are able to take action (go to ineternet site, call, donate etc.) same way as with the Android platform devices. Only difference is that it is not possible to publish messages using iOS platform. This limitation is due to Apple policy related to the use of Bluetooth in iOS devices.

MINFIE Beacons
There are 3 different beacons available.
Small triangular CR 2032 battery powered beacon with ON/OFF switch. This beacon is able to transmit about 10 meters. If continuously ON the battery lasts about 3-6 months depending on the transmission interval.
Medium size USB powered beacon can transmit about 30-40 meters. This needs USB power supply (please note that the power consumption is very low and the typical power banks switch off themselves if there is not enough power consumption detected).
Big USB powered beacon. This beacon can transmit several hundred meters in open space.
During 2020 beacons are available only in Finland with limited amount per order. Please send an email to customer.service@bt-way.com for sample order.

MINFIE Stickers
There are 3 different MINFIE sticker sizes: 5×5 cm, 10×10 cm and 15×15 cm – normal and window versions.
You can order the stickers by sending an email to customer.service@bt-way.com.
MINFIE logo
Use this logo / mark to inform people that there are MINFIE messages available at the current location.
Other alternative versions of the Minfie logo can also be used to communicate to people that at the current location there are MINFIE messages available – similar way as there are several different normal INFO marks existing. The shapes shown below are typical also in the normal info marks (dot instead of “e”) and therefore easy to associate with the “electronic information”.
